Bouncy Seat

We decided to try out the bouncy seat yesterday...you have to see the first video before you watch the second one.

Maybe we'll wait a few more weeks before we try the bouncy seat again!

Milestones - Reaching Out

Yesterday was an exciting day – Kris & I were hanging out in Max’s room stuffing diapers. Max was on his changing table getting bored. I put him on his side and put his little St. Louis Louie Bear in front of him. Max REACHED OUT and grabbed his face!! He was staring at Louie, looking into his face and grabbing his head. It was so neat! It’s the first time he’s reached out for anything and both Kris & I were there to experience it. I've noticed over the past week Max is starting to put his pacifier back in his mouth. He's not coordinated enough to hold it and put it back in his mouth but he can push it back into his mouth if it falls out. Max has also been more alert. He recognizes and acknowledges us more now. When he looks at you he gets a big smile on his face...it's intoxicating. :)

Weight & Length At Birth: 8lbs 10oz 20.5 inches

Two Weeks: 8lbs 12oz

Two Months: 14lbs 4oz

10 weeks 6 days - 15lbs 4 oz

We went the doctor yesterday because Max has been experiencing reflux. He gained a pound in just two weeks time!! The doctor gave him some medicine to help with the reflux but it's pepermint flavor and Max is not a fan!!

Max

I can't believe 10 weeks has past already. Today is my last day of maternity leave and looking at my blog I see it's been neglected. I've enjoyed every day that I've spent with my sweet baby boy. I've watched him grow so much! We went to his 2 month check up last week and he weighed 14.4lbs and is now 24 inches long! He is starting to discover his voice, he loves to talk in the morning when he first wakes up. He has a lot of strength and will pull back from you when you're holding him. He is kicking his feet a lot and will kick his play mat toys. We're still working on the sleeping arrangement. Most of the time he sleeps in his swing out in the living room. Thankfully he has been sleeping better at night with the help of the swing and miracle blanket. We usually get a 4 hour stretch of sleep followed by a couple more 3 hour stretches. Each day a little different than the last. Here are some photos from the last ten weeks. Enjoy!
