We're having a baby!! I woke up at 7am and took a test this morning. Wasn't really thinking that I was pregnant. My first test had a faint little line the kept getting darker. I woke Kris up and told him, his response "How many of those things have you taken? Don't get too excited." About 30 minutes later I took another one. That's the test on top. A line is a line!!!! Needless to say I could not go back to sleep. Later in the day Kris still did not believe the first two so I picked up the digital and vola-la! PREGNANT!! No doubt about it.

Busy...busy....busy

It's been a VERY busy two months. Every weekend I've had something going on. It's made me realize, I should carry my camera with me more often. So many things to blog about. I've had Katie & Brandie's babyshower, performed a wedding for Ashley & Jermey, went to Kaden's 2nd birthday party and helped my friend Monica move into a super cute new apartment. I've also enjoyed the wonderful aminities of Monica's new place. I'm sure I'm missing something...I did miss my niece Holly's 16th birthday, but I've added a sweet picture of her & the fam at the party. More pics to come...

Girls Weekend

This weekend I road up to Dallas/Ft. Worth with my friend Alison. I spent the weekend with Angie & Meg, picture included, don't we look good!!! Had a great time shopping, going out and spending time with these two beautiful ladies. Was also able to squeeze in dinner with my girl Tamisha. Thanks for the great weekend. Love you!

** side note ** Can someone please give me a lesson on how to put up wood blinds? We tried and were sucessful..but it took us over an hour on one blind. 13 more to go. UGH.

Nike Human Race Austin 8.31.08

My cousin Meg & I volunteered for the Lance Armstrong Foundation Water Stop #1 @ the Nike Human Race on 08.31.08. It's coined the world's largest running event, happenign in 25 cities around the world. Lance lead the race sporting his yellow jersy. 15,000 people ran behind him trying to keep up. Other famous people in the race were Ben Harper, Matthew McConehey Here are a few photos from that day.

Long Time

I know, it's been a long time since I've posted about anything. I'm not as good at blogging as I thought I would be. I will try to get better. Promise. So there has been a lot going on lately.

I just completed another wedding with STC. It was the first all inclusive package with Angel Springs. I have to say it went great! I wish Laura and Brett all the happiness in the world. It was so nice to work with Laura's family!

STC was also featured in The Knot best of 2008. Woohoo!! Congratulations STC!!!

Dad celebrated his 65th birthday a week ago. Happy Birthday Dad!

A belated happy birthday to Megan & Kody, who celebrated their birthday on May 24th! Last but not least happy anniversary to Jarrod & Brandie who celebrated their first wedding anniversary in April.

Strawberry Basil Lemonade
-Crystal Light Lemonade
-Fresh Strawberries (about 4-5 per pitcher; diced up small)
-Fresh Basil (about 4-6 leaves; grind them up to get the juice going first)
-Add Vodka to preference
