1. I love trying new recipes. I hate it when it turns out bad.
2. I started working out in December. I now work out 6 days a week and I really like it. I’ve lost 25% of the weight I want to lose. (yeah, I’m not giving you the actual number)
3. I want to eat a tiffs treat cookie…but I’m not. Instead I’ll eat cherry tomatoes and the other half of my whole wheat English muffin.
4. I met my husband on my first day of work at Dell. We had a 2 year break up and it was the darkest time of my life. I learned a lot about myself since then and I’m so happy we found our way back to each other. I don’t know where I’d be without him. He is my best friend.
5. I love the ACL Festival. It feels like coming home.
6. I miss having close friends at Dell to talk to on IM…even though I may be too busy to chat.
7. I love my dogs, even though they’re dirty.
8. I use to write long letters/emails. Now the words don’t come as easy.
9. I haven’t seen my maid of honor since my wedding. It makes me sad.
10. I have some really awesome friends that I do not see often enough.
11. I rushed into buying my house. It’s too small; it’s out in Hutto, it has all kinds of weird trash in the backyard, too many trees and not enough grass. But I’m starting to fall in love with it.
12. I love shopping. Wish I had someone else to pay for it.
13. I would like to open a bed and breakfast, a doggy center, gift shop or be a pro photographer.
14. Costa Rica was awesome. I wouldn’t mind having a house there someday.
15. There are evil songs on my Ipod that play way too loud. When they come on I feel the shock all the way in my hands.
16. There are some DUMB people who work at dell….I’d rather poke my eyes out than deal with them.
17. I like to make stuff up using the initials in a license plate. I amuse myself sometimes.
18. I hate when people leave out important details when asking for my advice. I have a hard time sugar coating a situation when I’m talking to my friends. I appreciate it when people cut through the bullshit. Some people like the honesty, others don’t.
19. I was in India when the tsunami hit. My friend Rachel & I were suppose to be on the beach, but we canceled our trip at the last minute because her girlfriend “had a bad feeling” about the trip. I hated being in India while I was there, looking back it was such a great trip. I wish I would have taken the time to go to the Taj Mahal. I want to go back.
20. I’m ready to have a baby, but it scares me to death. We already have our son’s name picked out, if we’re blessed to have a baby boy. We also have a song picked out to play on the way to the hospital. “Son is going to rise” citizen cope.
21. I would love to live in St. Louis and be closer to Kris’ family. I’d also like to live in Seattle, but I don’t think I could live that far away from my parents.
22. I’m afraid of losing anyone close to me. I don’t know what I’ll do when I lose one of my parents, losing my grandmother was hard enough. I’m also afraid of dying, it freaks me out.
23. My favorite number is 555, my favorite person is my husband, and I don’t have any other favorites.
24. I’d rather text than talk on the phone most days.
25. I can’t say the word vulnerable. It drives me crazy. (after Kris read my list he helped me practice this word. I still have a problem with it. I want to say vern not vul. LOL)

Happy New Year!!
Wow...can you believe it's 2009 already? Where did 2008 go? I can't even believe the holidays are over. In eleven days I'll turn 28. Next thing I'll know I'm 29....the last year of my twenties. OMG! Breathe....
This Christmas was great Kristopher & I stayed home and cooked our first turkey. Or I should say...he cooked the turkey. I helped with everything else. We watched a lot of hockey and football. Played with our new toys (an Ipod for me and a new playstation game for him). For NYE we had a few friends over and shot off some fireworks. Hope you all had a very Happy New Year!! Here's to a happy and healthy 09!

Trying to take our Christmas card photos...the weekend before Christmas!

We took Mom & Dad to the Zilker Park Christmas tree before they left for Taho.

Our Baby - or at least what it might look like
I found this tool on the VW website. It's a baby generator. You put in a picure of yourself with your huband and it shows you what your baby will look like. Check it out....our future baby! I think it's a boy...

ACL Fest 2008
ACL is probably my favorite weekend of the year. Time to hang out with friends while listening to some live music in the park! It doesn't get any better than that. Here are a few photos from that weekend.

Ghostland Observatory
Tonight Kristopher & I are going to see Ghostland Observatory....quiet possibly my favorite live band. Their music is a combination of electro, funk and rock. The band descibes their sound as "A robot making love to a tree!!" on their Myspace page. Listening to their music online, on the radio or a cd does not do them any justice. This band is a must see for everyone.
